Level 2 Award for Up-skilling Door Supervisor Course
(SIA Approved)
Up-skillings qualification that has been developed to meet the mandatory SIA top-up training requirement for Door Supervisors who undertook their training before June 2010.
The qualification meets the SIA’s mandatory top-up requirements and appropriately qualified learners who complete the qualification will be eligible to apply to renew their SIA Door Supervisors licence
Unit 1: Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry:
Chapter 1: Understand physical interventions and the implications of their use
Chapter 2: Understand how to reduce the risk of harm when physical intervention skills are used
Chapter 3: Be able to use non-aggressive physical skills to protect yourself and others
Chapter 4: Be able to use non-pain related standing, holding and escorting techniques, including non-restrictive and restrictive skills
Chapter 5: Understand good practise to follow after physical interventions.
It has been designed to be completed in 2 days (SIA mandatory minimum required time).
Course assessment:
Assessed by a 25-question multiple-choice examination this is set by Authority and marked by the tutor.
Documents required from you:
You will be required to bring Identification documents such as a Passport or a Driver's Licence and proof of address utility bill or bank statement etc along with 2 passport size photograph.
All guidelines will be provided upon completion of bookings. We could also come to you to if you have sufficient delegates.

Our special early booking price is £95 (Inclusive of Registration fees, exam fee, no other charges).
As of the 1st of April, anyone wanting to do a Level 2 Door Supervisor course must have a First-Aid certificate.
